 LSMW Batch Input Process

We can use Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW) to make changes in the SAP System in bulk or to create some data in bulk. Thus, while performing hundreds of transactions in the background in a very short time, we can also take care of other works.

For example, let's create and run an LSMW on the collective exchange of goods groups of materials.

We go to the relevant page by typing the LSMW transaction code.

We enter the system that we want to create a new project.

When we click the Open a new page button, it asks us to fill in the Project, Subproject and Object fields.

The Project field is a project name used for data transfers. It has a maximum of 10 characters. In this field, it is generally appropriate to write the name of the module to which the data transfer belongs.

Subproject is a subproject of the main project used for data transfers. It has a maximum of 10 characters. In this field, it would be appropriate to write the name of the process, which is usually a sub-breakdown of the module.

Object is also a business object linked to the project. It has a maximum of 10 characters. In this field, it is appropriate to write the name of the menu where the data transfer is made.

We can fill in the Project, Subproject and Object fields as above.

Then we can create and run LSMW by following the steps below.
